Monthly Spay/Neuter Clinic

Madison Cat Project strongly supports humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) as a method to control outdoor cat populations. TNR is 100% effective at preventing additional kittens from being born and it therefore stops the population growth.

One Saturday every month MCP works with the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine to offer affordable spay and neuter surgeries/vaccinations for cats that live indoors and outdoors.

Veterinarians, veterinary technicians, students, and other volunteers donate their time to help keep costs low. We are able to spay or neuter approximately 70-80 cats each month. The cats do not need to live in Dane County to participate.

We are currently scheduling for just a few weeks out. If you are caring for cats living outside or you have an indoor cat who needs to be spayed/neutered please fill out the scheduling form.

The suggested donation per cat is $35.
