Georgie

Sweet Georgie is an 11-year old spayed female who loves cuddles and affection. She will reach up for your hand to pull it down to her head for pets. She loves being brushed and even loves belly rubs! She makes a great little spoon, too, and lets you hold her close while you sleep. She needs a new home because she is very scared of other cats. My husband brought a few cats with him when we moved in together a couple of years ago, and despite trying everything we could to help them get along and keep her calm, Georgie is just too scared to feel comfortable, even when she is kept in her own room. Being kept so isolated makes her lonely, because she can’t socialize with people like she loves.  She is scared of dogs, too, but if the dog is calm and mostly ignores her, she could get used to them. She got used to ours after a while once she realized he would leave her alone. She is just easily stressed and needs to feel secure. She is in good health and up to date on shots and has a microchip. She even had her teeth cleaned a few years ago. Her previous owner had her front declawed, so she won’t scratch up your furniture. Indoor only. We will gladly include her cat tree, giant enclosed litter box, water fountain, cat carrier, brushes, and toys. She is loved, but deserves a better life. If you need a single cat to be your best friend, look no further!

Ivan & Alloysha

Ivan and Alloysha are 5 year old neutered half Maine Coon brothers. They are the BEST of cats; affectionate, flexible, friendly, and funny. They currently live an idyllic indoor/outdoor life. They love to be outside nights, and then come in to crash like teenagers and sleep all day, hoping for belly rubs and ear scratches. Alloysha (long haired) has a huge sense of humor, and enjoys being around and admired by people. He loves to be brushed, and shows affection by licking your toes. Ivan takes a minute to warm up to strangers, but he's the actual lap-sitter. He loves to be brushed, and can use the help. He is the talkative one, and will be sure to remind you when it's dinner time. Alloysha and Ivan eat a prescription diet; two years of prescription food offered with each cat. Otherwise, they are very healthy, very adaptable, and used to being with different people. While brothers, they are not bonded, so could to two homes. .

Pistol

Pistol is a big boy. He’s a two year old cat who’s pretty heavy. He’s got a bit of an attitude and can be very standoffish at times, but he really is super affectionate when he feels like it, he just has to warm up to you first. He enjoys being outside, but only for short bursts; he doesn’t want to be out there all day. (Only has ever been outside on a harness.) Pistol would do best in a home where he’s the only cat, but he would likely adjust to another cat, too. He’s just needs space first, so he can soak up some attention!

Lana

Lana is an 11 year old spayed female. She is an affectionate cat, absolutely preferring humans and lap time to being around other cats. She would be best in a quiet, single cat home. She’s had regular vet visits, vaccinations, and has no health issues. She spends a lot of time in the catio, which could be rehomed (free) with her if the adopting pet parent wants it.

Caramel Mocha

Caramel Mocha is one of the cuddliest cats! She LOVES attention and is super super sweet. She loves all people—adults and kids. She is a super tiny (~6#) cat that the vet estimates is around 2 yrs old (based on her teeth). She has seen our dogs and doesn't hiss or growl, so dogs or other pets should be ok.

Caramel Mocha is FeLV+. She would likely get along with other FeLV+ cats in her new home!

Hera & Atticus

Atticus is a big boy, very relaxed, loves cuddles and is super sweet. You could pick him up and carry him around all day and he'd be as happy as can be. Hera is a little more standoffish, once she warms up to someone she will be rubbing against legs all day long but is not a big fan of being picked up or held often, but will happily come up and lay next to you. With them being 4 they are still just as playful as they are cuddly. They'd do great in a home where it's just them and a human family who has time to give them loving. They are pretty independent so they don't need someone home all day, as long as they get cuddles when their people get home from work.

Artemis

Artemis is a 4 year old domestic short hair with a loving personality. If she isn’t busy sleeping, she’s in search for her cuddle buddy! She is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met. She loves giving kisses and being snuggled right up to you. She adores people regardless of age or sex. She is a special needs cat with anxiety and asthma, so a home that is ideal for her is someone who can keep with medication every night with her dinner.

She would be a best fit for an elderly couple or people who don’t have multiple animals. She must be an indoor cat.

Bones

Bones is a 5y/o fixed male cat. He is a domestic shorthair tabby with no health issues, no dietary issues, and no litter box issues. He is good with most cats and kids. It is unknown how he does with dogs because he hasn’t been around any.

Bones starts off as a very shy cat, especially to unknown people, but after he gets to know you he is the most sweetest baby. He likes to be up on your shoulder nuzzling into you. He likes to play with little toys and laser toys. He’s a little baby that follows you around. He loves attention after he knows you. He’s been strictly indoor from 8 weeks to now.

Sarah

Sarah is very sweet and affectionate. She likes to sleep with people. She’s not afraid of my dog and she doesn’t hiss at my dog so she might be fine in a home with a dog. Sarah would be best in a single cat home.

Midnight & Grimm

Midnight and Grimm are really sweet, loving neutered 3-year-old male cats. They are shy to new people, but they love treats and canned food, so just need a little time to warm up. They love cat nip as well. They are good with little dogs and they are good with kids.

Obi

Obi is looking for a new home. He a sweet 8 year old cat who is great with children and has lived with a dog before. His perfect home would include one with access to a yard. He enjoys being petted and loves people.

Ben & Jerry

Meet Ben & Jerry! These former outdoorsmen now enjoy the luxuries of indoor living. They are two peas in a pod who love to snuggle and play together and will do just about anything for a snack. They love sitting on shoes, chasing wand toys, rolling in catnip, and running around at night. During the day you can usually find them sleeping in their beds or lounging by the window. They are very low maintenance on a day-to-day basis, independent, and don’t seem to mind when I am traveling (which is super often, and I have a great pet sitter who I’d highly recommend!).

Ben – He has urinary issues that have been well managed by being on prescription food. This does have to be monitored, but we have not had any issues since initial diagnosis! He also has Feline Leukemia (FeLV) that is currently in a regressive state and has not exhibited any symptoms from this while I have had him (This website explains more about the virus and the regressive stage!).

Jerry – He also has urinary issues that have been well managed on prescription food, he has never exhibited symptoms. He does not have FeLV at this time.

Their future adopter can have all their things! They also have Embrace Pet Insurance that can be transferred to the new owner!

Rascal

Rascal is a lovable, sweet, and affectionate 11 year old cat. He is a native New Yorker! He would do best in a home without any dogs and would like to be put on a diet.
