Margarita
Margarita is a sweet and playful but nervous 3 year old who loves fetch or playing with wand toys. She enjoys a good snuggle when it's her idea, and likes belly rubs and head scratches from people she feels comfortable with. She makes the sweetest trill sounds and is a big fan of watching birds and squirrels.
Margarita would thrive in a home with quiet, calm adults who are patient in earning her trust. She is slow to warm up to humans and is very anxious around children. She should only go to child-free home, ideally to someone who is experienced giving cats medication. She has successfully lived with other cats but may need a slow introduction. Margarita takes anxiety medication due to a history of urinating on our child's belongings, though this behavior has been well controlled with medication and she has had zero incidents for two years.
Eros
Eros is roughly 10 months old, vaccinated, fixed, and with an ear tip. He is incredibly friendly and very vocal. He gets along with all other creatures and is sweet, silly and loves to play.
Siegfried
Reasons to adopt Siegfried:
-- he loves humans and is a big purr machine. Before he developed cat aggression he loved to sleep tucked in tight next to his human
-- in his current multi cat household, he has to live in a room by himself and he's lonely
-- although he needs lots of meds, he is very cooperative and easy to medicate and his current human is happy to teach others how to handle his insulin, etc.
-- although he has some urinary issues in his history, they have been 100% controlled by his kitty anti-depressants and it has been a non-issue for us for years now
Things to keep in mind about Siegfried:
-- he cannot live with other cats (dogs are probably also a bad idea)
-- he's diabetic and needs insulin twice daily (in addition to a low carb diet)
-- he also takes meds due to some cystitis he had years ago
-- he is safe and welcome to stay in his current home for as long as he needs
Smoke
Hi! My name is Smoke.
I am a very affectionate and snuggly boy.
I trill and give head bumps . My giant scratching post is my favorite toy. I also like to chase the red laser light. After all this I take naps in my cat tree or cat bed. If you’re lonely I can snuggle with you too! I think I will thrive best in a home that only has teens and adults. I can get along with other cats, but I love attention from my family members.
Turnip
Turnip is a sweet, sensitive cat who thrives in a calm, quiet home. She is affectionate on her own terms. When she chooses you, she’s incredibly loving and loyal. She would do best with someone who works from home or is retired and can be available when she wants company, but who also respects her independence. She prefers a household with one or two adults. She’s not a fan of chaos or loud environments.
Important Notes:
• When feeling stressed, Turnip may sometimes urinate outside of her litter box.
• The ongoing home construction has been difficult for her and is contributing to her stress.
• We are looking for a calm, low-stress forever home where she can feel safe, relaxed, and happy again as we prepare to welcome a baby.
