Dear Friends,
A number of weeks ago, we received a call about some kittens who needed our help. Without us, they probably weren’t going to make it!
You see, these two kittens were born without fully formed back legs. Pete is missing one of his back feet, while Miss Nellie is missing both.
This is Pete.
And this is Nelly.
Miss Nellie and Pete needed Madison Cat Project. We said yes to the call right away!
They were immediately taken to our expert neonatal kitten foster, as they needed extra special care. She is teaching them to use the litter box and working to give them skills to enjoy their life to the fullest once they go home.
We’re able to do this because each year, hundreds of people just like you support us. Without you, Miss Nellie and Pete may not be here today. Other shelters may not have given them a chance but at Madison Cat Project, they get more than just a chance. They get to thrive.
I’m writing to you today to ask for your help again. There is an ever-growing list of cats and kittens who need our help, and we never want to say no. Your financial support helps us say yes when people and kittens need us! You can help us say “yes!” to the cases that other shelters might otherwise not take on. You can help us be the difference for hundreds of cats each year!
Can we county on your support today? Your gift of $50 (or more!) helps us to cover life-saving vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries and all other care for each of the hundreds of cats, including Miss Nellie and Pete, that enter our doors each year before they head to their forever homes.
Will you help us be the difference? Miss Nellie and Pete are counting on you!
Thank you,
Colin Steinke
