A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase at the event!

Join us for our first ever Meowloween Walk! This is an easy-paced, just under 2-mile walk for charity designed for all ages and fitness levels. Every dollar raised supports our mission of saving cats' lives through community solutions. It's community support like this that allows us to give cats a second chance at a loving home and provide affordable veterinary care to cat owners.
Help us reach our $5,000 goal by creating your own fundraising page to recruit your friends and family to donate on your behalf! You will receive the link to create your page after registering in your confirmation email. The participant who raises the most money for Madison Cat Project by 10/23 will win a $200 Kwik Trip gift card! If two or more fundraisers reach the same total amount, a random drawing will be held to determine the winner.
Don't forget your costumes! We will be hosting a costume contest at the end of the walk with prizes going to one adult winner and one child winner. There will also be opportunity to trick or treat along the path. We will have candy bags to grab at check in or you are welcome to bring your own!

Can I bring my pets?
Child-friendly dogs on leashes and cats secured in strollers may attend!
Who needs to register?
Anyone over the age of 2 years old who plans to attend the walk must be registered by October 23rd. Kids 2 years old and younger may attend for free. You may select multiple tickets at a time in one purchase to register multiple people.

What is early registration?
You will receive a gift at check in if you register by 11:55pm on September 15th! For those 12 years and older, you will receive a special event t-shirt and those 3-11 years old will receive a goodie bag.
Can I buy an event t-shirt when I get there?
We will have limited stock of the special event t-shirt available for purchase at the event. Cash or Venmo payments will be accepted. Sizes are in unisex adult.
How long is the walk?
We will be walking the loop twice to get to just under 2 miles (1.96 miles)
Do I have to wear a Halloween costume?
You do not, but everyone is encouraged to get into the spirit!
How do I enter the costume contest?
Entry is free, please just let us know when registering and at check in! Please keep costumes family-friendly.
How are the winners of the costume contest chosen?
At check in, participants will receive a number badge and get their photo taken to enter the contest. While everyone is walking, a panel of judges will choose the top 5 costumes from the adult contestants and top 5 from the under 18 years old contestants. At the end of the walk, the crowd will choose the winners by round of applause! There will be one adult winner and one child winner.
Do I have to make a fundraising page?
You do not have to make a fundraising page in order to register and walk at the event, though it helps us reach our fundraising goal and gives you a chance to win the $200 Kwik Trip gift card!
Can people who donate to my fundraising page attend the walk?
Only if they register first. Making a donation to a participant’s individual fundraising campaign does not provide event entry.
What do I do when I get there?
Stop at the check in desk under the main outdoor shelter. There will be folks by the parking lot to guide you! Check in will open at 10am and the walk will start at 11am.
Will there be food?
There will not be food, but there will be candy!
How many candy stops will be along the trail?
8-10 candy stations depending on how many attendees are registered. We walk around twice, so 16-20 candy stops total. We will have candy bags to grab at check in or you are welcome to bring your own!
