We’re excited to bring this hilarious fundraiser to MCP for the first time! Read this e-mail for all the details on how it works!
What it is: Everyone loves a portrait of their treasured pet! We want to draw one for you!. The catch is you might get a seasoned artist or you might ….. not. Either way, your portrait will be special.
How it works: On Monday, March 30 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. only, visit our website to fill out a form and upload a photo of your pet and your payment of $25. This payment goes to supporting Madison Cat Project’s adoptions, affordable spay/neuter and wellness, and community resource offerings. This fundraiser is not just limited to cats! Send us any of your critters and we’ll draw them!
Once you submit your photo and payment, we will assign it to one of our artists. They have one week to complete them.
On April 6, we will upload all the photos to a shared photo album and you can download them from there! Please note: We are not able to provide hard copies.

How do I pay?
There will be a payment link in the form. Payment is by credit card.
Can I submit more than one picture!
Yes! You can submit as many as you like. Each form can only hold one photo, so you’ll have to fill out the form and pay as many times as you need to to get us all your photos!
Will AI be used?
No, we have instructed our artists not to use AI.
Can I submit a photo of my dog/snake/rabbit/fish/etc.?
Yes! We love all pets and are happy to draw them for you!
What if I miss the deadline?
The deadline to get your art in is March 30 at 6pm. We will remove the form from the website at that time. We can’t accommodate photos sent after the deadline.
How will I get my artwork?
On April 6 we will upload all the artwork to a shared photo album and you can download it from there!
Can I pay extra to get a hard copy of my artwork?
Unfortunately no, we are not offering that option. We will make sure your digital artwork is beautiful and print-worthy!
Do you still need people to draw?
Possibly! This is our first time doing this so we’re not sure how many people we’ll need. But if you want to get on the list to volunteer to draw, e-mail meghan@madisoncatproject.org.
What if I have more questions or issues with my submission?
Please e-mail meghan@madisoncatproject.org. Meghan will be on the computer all day long managing submissions and inquiries so you should hear back quickly.
